Frequently Asked Questions…
WHAT ARE MY EARRINGS MADE OF?…
While I do try and make sure my earrings are silver or gold plated…unless the individual product description says it is…You should assume it is not…
WHAT DOES PLATED MEAN?…
If it is plated…it is a thin layer of gold or silver, respectively, which is applied or dipped to the surface of a base metal (like brass or copper). This coating is much thinner than solid gold or silver.
ARE MY EARRINGS HYPOALLERGENIC?
Hypoallergenic are for customers with sensitive ears and usually made out of (ex., titanium, surgical stainless steel, 14K gold) At this time, my earrings are not hypoallergenic. Please keep checking in…or leave your information on a contact form because in the future I will be making some out of plastic hooks as well as other hypoallergenic metals. You can always send me a message by email or contact info for custom earrings.
WHAT EARRING STYLES ARE BEST SUITED FOR DIFFERENT FACE SHAPES?
While you can definitely go online and research which earrings are best for you…I say whatever makes you feel confident and promotes your style and what you want to say…or rather how do they make you feel? You should go for it!!! Celebrate being you!
CAN I CUSTOMIZE EARRINGS?
Yes, just contact me thru email or my phone number…I will be glad to discuss what you are looking to design.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
HOW DO I CLEAN MY EARRINGS?
I would use a damp cloth with a tiny bit of soap and then rinse with just a water moistened cloth and dry thoroughly. Some of my earrings with the tiny balls that almost look like disco balls…are made of clay and I would not put or submerse in any liquid. I would use just a dampened cotton ball with alcohol to clean the earring wires.
CAN I WEAR MY EARRINGS WHILE IN THE SHOWER, POOL OR SWIMMING?
No, I would not recommend swimming or submersing in water with them…while most of my earrings will be alright…over time the water will affect the metal used in making the earrings. Some of my earrings are made with clay and gemstones…those are especially not to be submerged.
